The following events will be cancelled next year:
Posted on: 05/07/12Vessels PTA needs your help! Currently we have 8 committee chair positions that need to be filled. We are looking for volunteers to help serve on these committees. Attached is a list of these committees and a brief description of them and an estimation of time involved on each committee. There will be a sign-up sheet posted at Open House Night (May 24th), or, if you just can't wait, please feel free to send me an email at any time to express your interest, or ask any questions. Most of these committees are easy to plan, they just require a bit of time. You will receive help and guidance from the PTA board and past committee chairpersons so you don't have to "reinvent the wheel", unless you want to! Serving on a committee is a fun way to make many new friendships.
We urge you to come to Open House, speak with former chairpersons, and see if any of these positions appeal to you. Please do not assume someone else will do the job. "Someone else" is NOT doing it and that is why we are appealing to you today. If we cannot fill these positions we will be forced to cancel these events for the 2012-2013 school year. Thank you in advance for considering serving on a committee. Your children will benefit from the time you devote to PTA. I am looking forward to a really fun 2012-2013 school year! See you at Open House!
